Should the cooking and safety valves fail to work, the rubber ring will be pushed in a position that allows the excessive pressure to escape via the ring’s cut-outs and thus guarantees a safe decompression of the pressure cooker. It is compatible with all Vita pressure cookers of 22 cm.
